Ramada Resort – part of the world’s largest hotel group Wyndham Worldwide – has officially opened in Dinner Plain Alpine Village, just 10 minutes from Mount Hotham.
The resort, which took over Peppers Rundells Alpine Lodge as well as up to 30 chalets in December last year, will be the group’s only South Pacific timeshare hotel to be located in the snow outside New Zealand. “We see Ramada Resort Dinner Plain, Mt Hotham as a ground-breaking acquisition and a natural fit for our vacation club, WorldMark South Pacific Club, which strives to offer a diverse selection of dream holiday destinations for our Club owners to choose from,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific . The 15-room alpine lodge features a bar, open fireplace, restaurant, small lounge, sauna, swimming pool and spa.
The additional chalets come in one, two, three and four bedroom configurations. At the helm with be resort manager Ryan Ennis, who was named the Australasian hotel industry’s best Front Office Associate at last year’s Hotel Management Awards.
