Jemma Ashe – Rising Tennis Star

If there’s something that Gippsland seems to be very adept at, it’s producing the next generation of sports, academic and performing stars.

This month we’d like to put some focus on young Gippsland tennis prodigy, Jemma Ashe. At just 13 years of age, she is currently ranked #4 in Victoria and #20 in Australia for her age group. Jemma is also ranked #430 in all of Australian Women’s Tennis, behind Sam Stosur. Remarkable, Jemma’s list of tennis achievements so far is something to behold:

 

2017 – Scholarship – Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club to play Women’s Pennant Tennis

 

2017 – Winner Goulburn Valley Championships U/14 Girls Singles – Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club
