Mum of 2, Meagan Goodes, from Pakenham has been recognised as a finalist in the Australian Bridal Industry Academy Awards (ABIA) for her excellence in photographic services, attention to detail and rapport she builds with her brides in her business, Magenta Photography. These prestigious awards celebrate and showcase the outstanding hard work and achievements of suppliers across Australia. What sets these awards apart is that they are based only on the perceptions and experiences of brides where suppliers are rated in 4 categories:

  • Quality of product
  • Quality of service
  • Value for money
  • Attitude of staff who serviced them

Over 30,000 brides are registered to vote each year with brides scoring out of 100. To be recognised as a finalist, suppliers need to obtain a rating of 95% or above. ABIA is known across the country for its high quality list of suppliers and is sought after when potential brides are looking to hire any wedding professional. Meagan, having serviced brides since January 2012, said she was “absolutely honoured to be amongst such prestigious photographers to be named as finalists. I love my job. I am surrounded by happiness and get to celebrate this beautiful time in my bride’s lives while being creative. Nothing makes me happier than to see the reaction on a bride’s face when she views her photos for the first time. I love that I am able to provide these permanent memories for them for years to come.”For further information about these awards orthe Australian Bridal Industry Academy, please visit www.abia.com.au.
