About the role
Our Allied Health Assistants are involved in the provision of allied health services to individuals and groups under the supervision and delegation of Allied Health professionals within the team. You will work alongside podiatrists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, physiotherapists and exercise physiologists to support clients to achieve their goals.
This position involves assisting with the provision of podiatry services to individuals under the supervision and delegation framework with a team of Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants.
The Podiatry team provides services to clients of all ages and includes assessment and diagnosis of existing and new conditions; wound care; advice and management for people with chronic disease; nail and basic foot care; orthotics and footwear advice.
Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, Disability Services, Aged Care, Nursing, Fitness, or Community Services required
- Relevant experience in health is desirable
