Hi, I’m Kane – Here’s why I built this
Living in Inverloch, I found it surprisingly hard to find job opportunities across Gippsland. There wasn’t a central place for local listings — I was constantly jumping between websites, social media pages, and word of mouth.
With a background in recruitment, I knew how important it was for businesses to find the right people — quickly and affordably. But when I spoke to local business owners, they were just as frustrated. Posting jobs was either too expensive or didn’t reach the right people.
That’s why I built Gippslander: to make it easier for locals to find work, and for businesses to hire — without breaking the bank.
Put simply, our mission is to connect Gippslanders with meaningful local work and help businesses find the right people — without the fluff.
Why we created Gippslander
Big-city job boards don’t work for regional Victoria — and posting in local Facebook groups only gets you so far. We built Gippslander to give local businesses a better way to find the right people, and for locals to discover real opportunities close to home.

Your privacy is our priority. Your details are only visible to the employers you choose to apply to.
Will I see jobs outside of the Gippsland region?
No. We are 100% focused on Gippsland. You won't have to sift through Melbourne-based listings; every job on our site is based right here in our region.
How do job alerts work?
