About the role
This varied and interesting position will have a focus on:
- Implementing the role of specialist family violence services
- Providing initial needs identification and comprehensive assessments for clients requiring access to programs within the Family, Youth and Children's Services unit.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent or be working towards this qualification in line with Recommendation 209 of the Royal Commission into Family Violence.
- Experience working with adults using family violence, children and families with complex needs and risk issues in any of the following service areas: family services, child protection, family violence, disability, housing, mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs.
