The Manager of Systems, Performance and Data will lead GEGAC’s information management systems, support compliance and provide organisational intelligence and evidence in support of identification of risk, trends and opportunities for improvement.

GEGAC is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation based on Gunaikurnai Country in Bairnsdale, Victoria. Consisting of about 160 staff, GEGAC is a Not for Profit organisation that delivers holistic services in the areas of Primary Health, Social Services, Elders & Disability and Early Childhood Education.
GEGAC is a child safe agency and has a zero tolerance of abuse or neglect of children and young people.
Position Purpose
Working within the Strategy and Compliance Division, the Manager of Systems, Performance and Data will lead GEGAC’s information management systems, support compliance and provide organisational intelligence and evidence in support of identification of risk, trends and opportunities for improvement. The position is key to generating data that drives and informs the organisational governance structures and supports operational and strategic decision making. The position provides leadership across the organisation in the promotion of data integrity, management, reporting and analysis.
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in implementing and maintaining specialised information management and document control systems for managing quality, safety and risk.
- Experience in data quality, business analytics and continuous quality improvement.
- Experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.
- Experience with client management systems, including Best Practice and Titanium or similar health/dental software systems.
- Previous information management experience including client records management.
- Previous experience in managing staff.
- Demonstrated experience at implementing, managing and monitoring a significant project across an organisation – including working in conjunction with a larger project team.
Qualifications and Registrations Requirement (Essential or Desirable).
- Qualifications in a business or management related fieldESSENTIAL
- A satisfactory Working with Children Check and Fit2Work Police Check ESSENTIAL
- A person of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander background DESIRABLE
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinated to align with mandatory vaccination directive applying to authorised workers ESSENTIAL
