About the opportunity
Wellways people stand up for what we believe in. Regional relationships, and regional standing, are crucial for positive impact in community. The Regional Manager will grow their influence by delivering more high quality services to more people, and leveraging strong contract performance into growth opportunities, becoming advisors to our contractors about what needs to be funded and how. Led by lived experience, the Regional Manager supports people to speak up and challenge attitudes and practices that lead to exclusion.
This role supports Wellways to deliver a personal and valued service experience to individuals, their families and community in the region of Gippsland, which includes a diverse service offering and offices and across all six Local Government Areas in the catchment, including sites in Warragul, Morwell, Traralgon, Wonthaggi, and Bairnsdale.
The Regional Manager reports to the General Manager Services and holds responsibility for fiscally sustainable delivery of the contracted programs within their portfolio. As a member of the Regional Managers Team, the role will support and reinforce a coordinated approach to the implementation of strategic objectives across the region, and promote a customer-focused, high-functioning and collaborative culture.
To be successful in this role
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, social science, occupational therapy, psychology or related discipline and/ or equivalent experience
- Current valid Driver’s License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Right to Work within Australia
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
