The Role
Our Morwell site is located about 150km east of Melbourne, manufacturing a large range of products in yoghurt and dairy desserts including brands such as Farmers Union, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait. Operating 24 hours a day, six days a week across 9 lines the site is highly automated and is the largest yoghurt facility in Australia.
The purpose of the Continuous Improvement Specialist is to drive, support and implement business improvement initiatives throughout the site, and to enhance capability of team members to do so. If you have a passion for improving performance in a growing environment, this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Lead improvement teams that deliver tangible safety, quality, environmental, efficiency and cost benefits
- Ensure project team members abide by all Bega & site procedures and policies
- Support delivery of site Bega Excellence specific capability plans
- Administer the site’s documented improvement plans and manage the reporting of this using Bega standard reporting tools
- Support safety initiatives on site and drive this improvement
About you
- Leadership and continuous improvement experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different departments and suppliers
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Able to work in a high paced environment
- Skills in interpreting data would be beneficial
