The Positions:
The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing competent personal care, support and assistance to all residents under the direction and guidance of the senior clinical team. Key duties and responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living and lifestyle in accordance with an individual’s care plan, attending to care duties as allocated and/or delegated by the Registered or Enrolled Nurse, assisting with meal delivery and refreshments, and recording observations on relevant assessment charts and documenting an individual’s progress notes.
Essential:
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in residential aged care.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
