Join Interchange Gippsland as a Community Access Worker (CAW)!
This role supports participants across East Gippsland and Wellington Shires, helping them achieve their goals, build confidence, and engage with their community. This is a rewarding opportunity where you’ll see the direct impact of your work every day.
We support participants 7 days a week. We’re particularly interested in candidates who are available between 7:00 – 9:00 am two mornings per week, after school (3:00 pm onwards), and weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Support people with disabilities to develop independence, confidence, and new skills.
- Facilitate group and individual activities that create meaningful experiences.
- Empower participants to engage with the broader community.
- Work flexible shifts.
- Travel across East Gippsland and Wellington Shires as needed to support participants in their local communities.

What You’ll Need
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar.
- Driver’s Licence.
- (Or willing to obtain) First Aid, CPR, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- COVID-19 vaccination.
