MRI Medical Imaging Technologist

I-MED Radiology brings you a new opportunity for a qualified MRI Radiographer to join our team and enjoy and long and rewarding career.
 
Based in Traralgon, an opportunity exists for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our friendly and collaborative team. This is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday working between 6am – 930pm, reporting directly to the Chief Technologist. Opportunities to participate on the weekend and on-call roster.

What's on offer for domestic candidates:

To be successful in this role, you will have prior exposure working in a clinic or hospital environment as a Radiographer, working across General X-ray, CT and MRI. Your communication skills will be strong and high-quality patient-centred care will sit at the heart of all that you do. You will be able to prioritise your workload, work independently and be able to respond to various situations within a busy clinic effectively and efficiently.

Please note, you will hold appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography will have a current AHPRA Registration and Level 1 ASMIRT accreditation is recommended.

Key accountabilities include: 

• Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment
• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
• Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards 

Key selection criteria:

• Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
• Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
