KH7 or GH1 (depending on qualification)
An opportunity exists for a permanent part time Handy Person. The role of the Handyperson is to assist in providing high quality maintenance services to all areas of the health service. The handyperson will undertake maintenance and repair tasks and maintain the hospital grounds, as directed by the Facilities Manager
To be suitable for this position the applicant will meet the qualifications and experience listed in the position description and the following criteria:
- Great communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and flexibility
- Ability to work autonomously
- Capacity to multi-task and prioritise
- Good fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Openness to learning new skills and further training
- Experience in building and grounds maintenance (desirable)
