About the Centre
Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) is a recreation centre, which opened in March 2021. This state-of-the-art aquatic centre offers fantastic facilities including a variety of pools. The gym is fully-equipped with modern and functional workout equipment, we offer a variety of group fitness classes each week via our timetable, as well as personal training sessions.
About the Role
As a Senior Operations Centre Coordinator at GRAC, you will manage the Duty Manager Team and Operations (Lifeguard) Team Leader. You will oversee recruitment and onboarding for your team and support with employee training and development in addition to rostering and timesheets. You will ensure the daily operations of the centre are in line with contractual requirements, quality systems and industry guidelines. You will manage Health & Safety, Risk and Environment with the support of the Operations Team Leader. You will oversee all facility maintenance and strategic asset management including contractor relationships. You will develop and optimize facility hire opportunities and manage all associated budgets and reporting.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $69,574 per annum + Super, experience dependent.
About You
- 1-2 years leadership experience in aquatic facility operations.
- Your demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills enable you to inspire and engage our duty manager team.
- You possess strong organisational and multitasking abilities, allowing you to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks.
- You will have a comprehensive understanding of risk management practices and safety management systems
