About this role
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced, or new graduate Physiotherapist keen on Community-based therapy. The role offers complete flexibility, allowing you to work the days and hours you choose. (You also have the option of increasing your hours, if you're more interested in a part-time or full-time role as your caseload develops).
Within your new Community Physio role, you will enjoy assessing and treating a wide variety of cases, however our main focus at Fuller Life Physio is that of older adults, and disabilities.
What you will doing
- Completing comprehensive and robust home-based assessments for older adults at risk of falls or wish to remain as independent as possible at home.
- Assessing and developing treatment plans, for chronic pain and other age-related conditions.
- Maintaining accurate communication with clients and key stakeholders, to manage client care and progress.
- Completing thorough physical and functional assessments with individuals who have physical and/or learning disabilities.
- Managing the short, or long-term therapy goals of clients using evidence-based practice.
What we're looking for
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in Community therapy is not essential as training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients and their families.
- A proactive, client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
