Grade 3 Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Grade 3 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. The role involves developing an evidence-based paediatric service and working with community-based clients across multiple sites as part of a multidisciplinary allied health team.
Our Occupational Therapy team is dynamic, flexible, and supportive, providing both generalist and specialty services. We focus on developing future healthcare leaders and encourage staff to grow their clinical interests in a collaborative and trusting environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Master of Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent
- Current and unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Victorian Driver’s licence
- A valid Police Check
- Working with Children’s Check
- NDIS Workers Check
- Flu Vaccination
Desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory and practice.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Established understanding of person-centred care.
- Established commitment to the principles of continuous quality improvement.
- Established skills in organisation, planning and priority setting.
- Established leadership skills and focus on building teams within occupational therapy and the multidisciplinary team.
- Established skills in the development of services to meet the needs of the community.
- Ability to educate and support a team of occupational therapists to achieve evidence-based outcomes which align with national standards and clinical guidelines.
