Integrated Family Services Practitioner
Position Summary
To provide professional support and develop goal-focused interventions with children, youth, and families in the Bass Coast Shire who are experiencing vulnerability due to the complex issues in their lives.
Multiple permanent positions available – Part or Full time
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with families in their homes to develop goal-focused interventions to support children, youth, and parents
- Provide case management, parenting skills and advice, making referrals to specialist services
- Network and work collaboratively with other agencies, schools, and health professionals with the aim of providing child stability, safety, and wellbeing
- Undertake ongoing professional development and supervision
- Work collaboratively within the Family Services team
- Liaise with Child Protection to support the safety of children and young people
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Welfare, Psychology, Education, or other related discipline
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Flu Vaccination
