The Role

We are looking for an Experienced Land Surveyor to join our Traralgon team on a full-time basis. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Undertaking field work duties and assisting in the preparation of survey plans and topography surveys
• Ensuring all surveying tasks are meet with appropriate technical standards in-line with client requirements and SMEC’s policies and procedures
• Collecting, analysing and collating survey data 
• Producing calculations and plans
• Applying project management principles to deliver assigned projects to the required standard in a timely manner
• Liaising with project managers and appropriate stakeholders to ascertain information required to undertake documentation tasks
• Assisting with data transfer, field survey set out & data collection, reduction and processing

About You

• Relevant Survey qualifications or undertaking Diploma/Advanced Diploma qualifications in Surveying
• Experienced Surveyors will have 4+ years domestic experience working as a Land Surveyor 
• Ability to use basic theoretical knowledge of Surveying principles to analyse and interpret information
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, LisCAD and TBC is preferred but not essential
• Experience using Trimble surveying equipment
• Current Australian Driver’s License
• White Card
