Casual Disability Support Worker

Wazka Support Services is a growing disability support provider delivering person-centred supports across regional and metropolitan Victoria. We operate a vibrant group facility in the Pakenham area and provide outreach supports throughout:

  • South Gippsland

  • Bass Coast

  • Cardinia

  • Casey

  • Baw Baw Shire

  • Latrobe

  • Frankston

  • Dandenong

  • Mornington Peninsula

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Casual Support Workers to join our team.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants living with disabilities and mental health challenges. Supports may include:

  • Community access and social support

  • Personal care assistance

  • Skill-building and capacity-building activities

  • Transport to appointments and activities

  • Domestic assistance and meal preparation

  • Group-based supports and recreational activities

  • Behaviour and mental health support

  • Inactive sleepover shifts where required

Available shifts include:

  • Day shifts

To Be Considered, Applicants Must Have:

  • Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience is desirable!

  • Availability to work multiple shifts per week (not just 1–2 shifts)

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and flexibility

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Current Working With Children Check

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

  • Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
