Blue Wren Disability Services is looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Male and Female Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

About the Role

You'll provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and community inclusion for people living with disability.

What We Offer

  • Casual employment with 2–8 hour shifts

  • Immediate start available

  • Weekday and weekend shifts

  • Flexible work across Warragul, Drouin, Yarragon, Poowong, Moe, and Morwell

  • Shifts available 7 days a week, between 7:00am and Midnight

  • Overnight shifts in our SIL home may be available for the right applicants

  • Supportive, friendly, and professional team environment

We're Looking For

🚹 Male Disability Support Worker

  • Supporting male participants with community access and daily activities

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude

  • Ability to plan engaging community outings and meaningful activities

  • Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern using positive behaviour support approaches

  • Flexible and available to accept short-notice shifts

🚺 Female Disability Support Worker

  • Previous experience providing personal care

  • Confident using hoists and following safe manual handling practices

  • Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern using positive behaviour support approaches

  • Compassionate, patient, and confident supporting participants with more complex needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals

  • Assisting with community access, appointments, shopping, and recreational activities

  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

  • Providing personal care where required

  • Supporting participants with mental health challenges and behaviours of concern

  • Completing accurate documentation and communicating effectively with the team

Essential Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee)

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module

  • Current Driver's Licence

  • Fully insured and reliable vehicle

  • Infection Control Certificate

  • Manual Handling Certificate

  • Smartphone for rostering and documentation

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Availability for weekday, weekend, and short-notice shifts

  • Open to further training ( if required)
