Headway Gippsland is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plan Management Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team in Morwell. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in administration, finance support, or the disability sector.

Whether you have previous administration experience or are looking for your first professional role, we will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

About the role:

As a Plan Management Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting NDIS participants by ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining client records, and providing excellent customer service to clients and service providers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing and managing provider invoices in a timely manner

  • Ensuring invoices are accurately allocated and compliant with NDIS guidelines

  • Responding to client and provider enquiries professionally and courteously

  • Providing accurate information regarding participant budgets and payments

  • Maintaining client records and administrative systems

  • Supporting the broader Plan Management team with day-to-day administration functions

  • Providing assistance and leave coverage across the team when required

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop valuable administration, finance, customer service, and NDIS industry knowledge within a supportive team environment.

Please note: The role is currently based in Morwell. Our office location is expected to change in early 2027.

  • Confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications

  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused

  • Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy

  • A team player with excellent communication skills

Key selection criteria (KSC):

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technologies, with confidence using computers and Microsoft Office applications

  • Previous experience or exposure to finance administration or accounts processing

  • Understanding of the NDIS, disability services, or NDIS Plan Management (desirable)

  • Previous experience in a professional, volunteer, or customer service role (advantageous)

  • Demonstrated commitment to organisation, efficiency, professionalism, accuracy, and initiative
