Allambee Camp is looking for an enthusiastic Outdoor Activity Facilitator / Instructor to join our small, friendly team.
Allambee Camp is a privately owned and operated residential camp providing outdoor adventure programs for primary and secondary school groups, as well as church, youth, family and other community groups.
The role
We are looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with young people and helping others learn, grow and challenge themselves.
As an Outdoor Activity Facilitator / Instructor, your main role will be delivering outdoor adventure programs to school-aged students. Activities may include:
Flying Fox
Giant Swing
High and Low Ropes
Archery
Bushwalking
Campfire cooking
Other outdoor and team-building activities
You will also assist with general camp routines and the day-to-day running of programs.
No previous experience in the outdoor education industry? That's okay! We provide 1:1 onsite training for applicants who are new to the industry. Experience is preferred, but attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Is confident, friendly and responsible
Is comfortable leading groups and getting involved
Is willing to learn and take on new activities
Can work flexibly according to camp bookings
Enjoys being part of a small team
This is an ongoing core casual position, starting ASAP. Work is mostly on weekdays and, depending on bookings, is generally 3–5 days per week during peak periods.
Our peak seasons are February–June and August–December, and the roster is generally available several months in advance.

Essential requirements
Current Working with Children Check Card (or ability to obtain one)
Current First Aid Certificate – HLTAID011
Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle, as there is no public transport to the camp
