Your new role
As a Family Preservation & Reunification Practitioner, you will provide intensive wraparound case management services to vulnerable families who present with complex needs. You will deliver assertive outreach, undertake risk assessments, participate in care team planning and develop creative interventions to engage hard-to-reach families. Working as part of collaborative care team, you will assist families to address the safety and developmental needs of children and young people, and support parents to enhance their resilience and self-determination.

Your skills and experience
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in child and family welfare or a related discipline
- Previous experience within the child, youth and family welfare sector
- An understanding of theoretical approaches relevant to working with infants, children, young people and families, including the Best Interests Framework
- Demonstrated ability to undertake risk assessments and plan and implement appropriate intervention strategies to engage families
- A strengths-based, child and family centered approach to case management
