Responsibilities and duties will include:
Use of a range of computer software to develop detailed designs and drawings including: Solidworks (CAD/CAE)
Research and design of new products and systems, with a focus on cost-effectiveness
Modification of existing products or processes to increase efficiency or improve performance
Accountable for resolving design and development issues
Accountable for ensuring projects run on time and budget
Liaise with warehouse foremen as first point of contact for technical advice
Purchase and quality assurance of supplier supplies
Attend and contribute to staff meetings
Comply with company policies and procedures
Ensure OH&S policies are adhered to
Proficient in MS Office applications
