Our Maryvale Paper Mill maintenance team is seeking an experienced Superintendent Mechanical Maintenance to join us.
You will lead a dedicated trades team, managing both preventative maintenance programs and reactive works to ensure our plant operates at peak efficiency.
The focus of this role will be to:
- Oversee maintenance execution across paper machines, ensuring schedules align with production requirements and quality standards
- Implement process controls and cost improvement strategies with a focus on disciplined work order processes and the management of critical spares.
- Apply structured problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and leverage CMMS tools for sustainable gains.
- Assist in planning and executing asset shutdowns and providing leadership and technical decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with your team to ensure they operate with a Zero Harm mentality, meeting all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- A track record of delivering both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of heavy industrial plant and assets
- Well-developed influencing skills with the ability to work effectively with engineers, planners, and operational personnel
- Experience managing contracted trades and maintenance budgets while maintaining high-quality work and procurement standards
