Blue Wren Disability Services is looking for experienced, compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
We are seeking applicants with a minimum of 3 years' experience working in the disability sector who are confident supporting participants with Behaviours of Concern (BOC), manual handling and more complex support needs.

π About the Role
You will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, choice and community inclusion.
Our support workers assist participants with a range of needs, including community access, daily living, personal care, appointments, recreational activities, manual handling and behaviours of concern.
π Warragul SIL Home β Sleepovers Required (Female Only)
We are particularly seeking an experienced support worker who is:
Available for 2-3 nights per week Monday night is essential
Open to picking up additional overnight/sleepover shifts as they become available
Confident supporting participants in a SIL environment
Experienced in managing Behaviours of Concern (BOC)
Experienced and confident with manual handling, including following safe transfer and mobility procedures
Able to follow Behaviour Support Plans and provide positive, consistent support
Reliable, calm and confident when working with complex needs
π³ Community Access Shifts Available
We also have community access shifts available for experienced support workers who enjoy helping participants get out into the community and achieve their individual goals.
Community access may include:
Attending appointments
Shopping and errands
Walks and outings
Recreational activities
Social and community participation
Supporting participants to explore their interests
Transport to and from activities
You will need to be confident working independently, proactive in planning meaningful activities and able to provide safe and positive support in the community.

π We're Looking For
You will have:
Minimum 3 years' experience working in the disability sector
Strong experience supporting people with Behaviours of Concern (BOC)
Practical experience with manual handling and safe transfers
Experience working with participants with complex support needs
A sound understanding of positive behaviour support
Experience with personal care and daily living support
Ability to work confidently and independently
Excellent communication and documentation skills
A compassionate, patient and respectful approach
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and short-notice shifts
A genuine commitment to person-centred support

Minimum 3 years' disability support experience
Demonstrated experience supporting participants with BOC
Demonstrated experience with manual handling
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check β Employee
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Orientation Modules x 4
Current Driver's Licence
Fully insured and reliable vehicle
Current Infection Control Certificate
Current Manual Handling Certificate
Current Medication Certificate
