Join Nagle College as a Technology Aide in our Food and Textiles (Technology) Area
Nagle College is seeking a dynamic and organised Technology Aide – Food & Textiles to support our vibrant Technology Team. In this varied role, you’ll help bring lessons to life by assisting with preparation, organisation, and maintenance across our Home Economics kitchens, pantries, textiles rooms, and classrooms — and lend a hand in the canteen when needed. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to support students and teachers in a creative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Part time, ongoing
- Hours: 9am to 4pm, 3 to 4 days a week (including Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
- Classification: Category B Level 2, under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022
- Enjoy being paid to have school holidays off
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who is highly organised and can confidently support teachers in preparing, maintaining, and cleaning Home Economics and Textiles classrooms.
- A team player who can prioritise tasks, manage resources, and ensure materials and ingredients are ready for practical sessions.
- A hands-on helper with a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and OH&S compliance in kitchens and textiles rooms.
- A reliable multitasker who can assist with the school canteen, hospitality events, and PE/sport uniform and equipment management.
- A proactive communicator who is comfortable liaising with teachers, students, suppliers, and maintenance staff.
- Someone with a can-do attitude who is ready to assist with administration tasks, equipment upkeep, and the day-to-day operations of a busy Technology Faculty.
