We're seeking experienced and motivated individuals to support the ongoing operations of East Gippsland's largest healthcare provider.
About the roles:
We currently have opportunities in both Building and Mechanical maintenance roles.
Building Maintenance position:
In this role you will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings, furniture and fittings – including cabinetry and shelving. You will also assist with mechanical plant equipment tasks as needed.
Mechanical Maintenance position:
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient repair, modification and maintenance of all mechanical hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid power systems used across our facilities.
Both roles are essential in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional and maintained to the highest standard.

What you need:
- A recognised mechanical / cabinet maker or building trade qualification
- Two or more years' experience in a facilities/building maintenance role
- Demonstrated competence and knowledge to perform a range of mechanical repairs and maintenance to machinery or;
- Demonstrated high level of skills and knowledge of building and/or facilities maintenance
- Proven ability to diagnose faults, problem solve and achieve optimum solutions
- The ability to work in and contribute to a high-functioning team

The Facilities Department is responsible for providing essential services, planned and breakdown maintenance support to all Bairnsdale Regional Health Service owned and operated facilities. The Department also manages the vehicle fleet including a range of passenger and commercial vehicles used to transport patients, residents and staff all over the state.
