Job Description Summary
We are seeking Expressions of Interest across multiple roles for minor outage work at the AGL Loy Yang power station.
About the Role
Service Stream is calling interested parties to assist with shutdown work at the AGL Loy Yang Power Station in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria from early September through to the end of November 2025.
We are particularly interested in Mechanical Supervisors with previous shutdown experience.
If you are qualified and experienced in any of the following trades, please submit your expression of interest:
- Mechanical Supervisors
- Welding Supervisors
- Industrial electricians & HV electricians
- Boilermakers / Pressure Welders
- Industrial Mechanical Fitters
- Riggers/Scaffolders
- Safety Officers
Your Expression of Interest must include:
- Resume (or enter your experience and qualifications) on the application.
- Copies of supporting documentation and all certificates must be attached with application.
- Nominate one or multiple roles you are interested in.
Your requirements:
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence or equivalent proof of ID.
- Construction Induction White Card or equivalent.
- Formal qualifications relevant to your trade.
- Demonstrated relevant work experience, ideally within the Power, Oil/Gas industries.
- Commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Industry Best Practices.
- Willingness to undergo a Preemployment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Testing.
Highly Regarded (relevant for your role)
- Current Statement of Attainment: Confined Space Certificate (within 3 years)
- Current Recognised Working at Heights Certificate (within 3 years)
Please note we must have the statement of attainment, refreshers or online courses will not be accepted for both Confined space and working at Heights.
