About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual to support continuous improvement initiatives at our Morwell site. The Continuous Improvement Officer plays a vital role in driving operational excellence by inputting, analysing, and reporting performance data.
You will collaborate closely with the Continuous Improvement (CI) and Operations Teams to identify opportunities for enhancement and improve our site's overall capability and performance.
Our Morwell site is located about 150km east of Melbourne, manufacturing a large range of products in yoghurt and dairy desserts including brands such as Farmers Union, Dairy Farmers and Yoplait. Operating 24 hours a day, six days a week across 9 lines the site is highly automated and is the largest yoghurt facility in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organise, clean, and analyse operational data to identify key areas for improvement.
- Work closely with key site teams to promote initiatives that enhance safety, quality, environmental standards, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with the business stakeholders to ensure KPI reporting is accurate and up to date.
- Develop and refine data analysis to support the Site Steering Team's improvement targets.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
- Excellent relationship-building and strong communication skills, demonstrating a proven ability to engage and influence across various organisational levels.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and capable of quickly learning new software applications.
- Experienced with analytical tools, data analysis, office management, and reporting.
- Well-organised with strong planning skills.
- A solid understanding of food manufacturing processes and practices is highly desirable.
