We are looking for a Pizza Cook/Chef to join our winery team in our busy cellar door restaurant
What we are looking for (Requirements)
- Experience working in a high volume and fast paced environment
while maintaining high and consistent food and service standards
- A passion for good food and presentation!
- Knowledge of wood fired pizzas a plus
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Must have a proven ability to be a team player to work well in a team environment
- Passionate about food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (including Friday and Saturday day and nights and Sunday day) essential
- Additional hours for functions and during our Summer extended trading hours
Responsibilities:
- Dough preparation and cooking a variety of pizzas to a high standard.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
- Reporting to and working closely with our head chef.
- Provide backup to the head chef as required
- Mentor and inspire other kitchen staff
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
