Come and join the team at our modern General Store Cafe in the heart of the Gippsland Lakes. We are after a chef, cook or apprentice who likes a relaxed kitchen, good company and a job that lets you finish in time to pick the kids up from school.

We are a close knit, friendly crew. Jamie and Tracey, our owners, are easy going and supportive, and there is a steady stream of interesting characters coming through the store to keep things fun. No two days are ever the same here.

The menu is fresh and approachable, built around local ingredients with a nice take on everyone's favourites. We are the proud home of the famous Nicho Pie, plus all our home baked cakes and slices. You will be an all rounder across the kitchen, from baking and cooking up potato cakes to home cooked meals, takeaway and eat in. Nothing too complicated, just good honest food done well.
