CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond. The service provides beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra and Heyfield). Acute services include a full-time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit, three operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services in addition to general medical and services and sub-acute services including rehabilitation.
CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.
About the Role
This key role reports to the Manager Executive Services and is primarily responsible for liaison, coordination and providing high quality administrative support to the Director of Aged Care and, as required, other members of the Executive Team in a professional, confidential and efficient manner.
The purpose of the position is to manage the administrative and secretariat functions of key Boards and Committees, as well as supporting the Office of the Director of Aged Care.
The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring workflow synergies and effective communication between the Director of Aged Care, the Executive Team and other key stakeholders. The role manages numerous tasks, timelines and competing demands.
The role ensures the effective and high-quality provision of administration requirements, including meeting administration, compliance and statutory reporting, and other matters relating to maintaining effective governance systems at CGH.
