Ready to step up and lead a crew in a business that's going places? Problast Victoria is looking for an experienced Leading Hand / Supervisor to lead and supervise our Morwell workshop team.

We're a protective coatings contractor based in Morwell, and we're moving into larger-scale, higher-spec industrial and infrastructure work across Victoria. As we grow, we want people who want to grow with us. We hold ourselves to high standards, and this role is key to keeping it that way.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supervising the workshop crew and coordinating day-to-day tasks

• Making sure every job meets our quality standards before it leaves the shop

• Training and upskilling our current team, including mentoring apprentices

• Keeping the workshop safe, organized and running on schedule

• Working closely with management to plan and prioritize jobs

• Hands-on surface prep and coating application (when required)

What we're looking for

• Solid experience in industrial painting or protective coatings

• Previous leading hand or supervisory experience (advantageous, not essential)

• Proven ability to train and develop others

• A genuine care for quality and pride in your work

• A solutions-focused mindset and the kind of attitude that lifts the team around you

• Someone who wants to be part of a growing team and grow with the business

• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example

• Reliable, organized and safety focused

• Driver's license (essential)

• Forklift license (advantageous, not essential)
