Breakfast Cook / Chef

The Coffee Collective is seeking a Part-Time/ Casual Cook/Chef to join our vibrant team in Wonthaggi, VIC. As a key member of our hospitality crew, you will be responsible for preparing a range of delicious and high-quality meals for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the success of our thriving local café.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing a variety of hot and cold menu items to our high standards
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are maintained at all times
• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Assisting with stock control and ordering of kitchen supplies
• Contributing to the development of new menu items and recipes
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications or experience in commercial food preparation
• Certificate IV Commercial Cookery qualification is required
• Minimum 1-2 years commercial cooking experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes
• A positive, customer-centric attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Must have Australian work rights
