Gippslander just got a whole lot better
Too many job sites bury local roles under hundreds of Melbourne listings. Gippslander is built for one thing: connecting Gippsland employers with Gippsland workers. Here's what's new on the site.
One-tap Google sign-in
Sign in with Google — one tap, no password to remember. Email sign-in still works if you prefer it.
Search by region, not just town
Looking for work across Baw Baw, South Gippsland, or the Latrobe Valley? Search a whole region at once instead of hopping between towns.
Richer employer profiles
Before you apply, see who the employer is, where they're based, and what other roles they're hiring for. Do your research, walk in confident.
Know where your application stands
Your dashboard now shows when an employer views your application, and you'll get an email the moment your status changes — shortlisted, unsuccessful, or anything in between. No more hitting submit and wondering.
And we're not stopping there. There's plenty more in the works — new features for job seekers, better tools for local employers, and a few things we think will genuinely change how hiring happens in the region. Keep an eye out.
Gippsland has great employers and talented people. Our job is to make the connection between them as easy as possible.
