Doggy Daycare / Kennel Attendant

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Doggy Daycare Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care of dogs at our daycare facility, ensuring their safety and happiness while they play, learn, and socialize with their furry friends.

At Country Pine Kennels & Cattery, we are passionate about providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for Dogs & Cats while their owners are at work or away. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a variety of activities, socialization, and care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. We believe in creating a positive experience for both our furry guests and their human companions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Monitor dog behavior and interactions, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare area, including outdoor spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in play areas & pets housing.
• Assist with basic grooming tasks, such as brushing, bathing and cleaning up after the dogs.
• Communicate regularly with pet owners about their dogs' activities and behaviors during the day.
• Participate in dog training and enrichment activities as needed.
• Keep Pet Taxi & workplace Clean Daily.
• Safe & responsible driving of pet van daily.
• Daily photography and Videos of Daycare & Boarding Dogs daily, confident skills in using Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & other social media platforms for uploading photos & videos.

Qualifications:

• Passion for dogs and animal care.
• Previous experience working with dogs in daycare, boarding, or veterinary settings is preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting and walking dogs.
• Fun & Enthusiastic on Social Media content with Dogs, Cats & Dog Training.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
• Australian Drivers License.
