We've updated the Gippslander employer dashboard to help busy local business owners hire faster. Thank you to every employer who chooses to post their job ad on Gippslander and hire locally. Our goal is to get your job in front of as many Gippslanders as possible.
Promote your job in one click
Every live job now has a Promote button. Share it straight to Facebook or LinkedIn, or copy the link to send to a local group, a mate or your own customers. Word of mouth still finds great people in the country, and this makes it easy to spread the word.
Bring your team in
You no longer have to do it all yourself. Invite up to 10 people by email, such as a manager, supervisor or reception, and they can post, edit, re-post and close jobs and manage applicants. They get new applicant notifications too.
This is handy when you're on the tools, on leave or flat out running the business. The person who'll actually work alongside the new hire can review applicants themselves, and nothing sits waiting for you to get back to a computer. Billing and your company profile stay with you as the owner.
Faster hiring
We've made the dashboard quicker to use, so you can get through applicants in a few minutes, even from your phone.
See new and waiting applicants as soon as you log in
Review applications side by side and shortlist in one tap
Close the job in one click once you've hired
Applicants know you've seen their application
When you open an application, the applicant now gets an email letting them know it's been viewed. It's a small thing, but it keeps job seekers engaged and reassures them their application hasn't disappeared into a void.
In small communities that matters. The person applying might be your neighbour, a regular customer or someone you'll bump into at the footy, and how they're treated during hiring says a lot about your business. A quick reply, even a no, goes a long way.
To help with that, we'll also send you a gentle reminder when people are still waiting to hear back.
Job seekers can also now search by business name, so people who already know and like your business can find all your open roles.
Still a local, personal service
None of this replaces the human touch. If you need a hand writing your job ad or getting the most out of your listing, I'm here to help. Just get in touch.
