About the Role:

We're looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to be a key support to our kitchen leadership and help create incredible dining experiences for our residents at Lakes Entrance Care Community.

•  Roster: Starting at 2 shifts per week - Saturday and Sunday 09:00-17:00
•  Remuneration: Hourly Rate + penalty rates & superannuation

What You'll Do:

✔ Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals that meet resident dietary needs and preferences.

✔ Support the Head and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations and food service.

✔ Help maintain the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance.

✔ Step up and lead sections of the kitchen, developing your supervisory skills.

✔ Contribute ideas to menus and help create a dining experience that brings joy to our residents.

What You'll Need:

✔ Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.

✔ Several years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.

✔ Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

✔ A passion for food and a genuine desire to learn and take on more responsibility.

✔ Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

✔ Willingness to complete:

• Pre-employment medical
• Police check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
