Maintenance / Gardener /All Rounder

Pay: A$32.00-A$42.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are looking to appoint a casual Maintenance Person / HandyMan / Groundskeeper / General Cleaner to join our team.

The Matador Motel is part of the AHG group, a young dynamic Australian company managing several properties and investing in the future providing its team opportunities for advancement within the group.

The maintenance / groundskeeper role includes:

• Maintenance issues as they arise,

• Garden maintenance,

• Pool cleaning,

• Painting as required.

• Receiving and placing linen orders, restocking linen rooms upstairs/downstairs,

On occasions you may be called to work in housekeeping which includes all aspects of cleaning services in the day-to-day operations of a busy motel, tasks may include but not limited to:

• Stripping rooms,

• Making beds,

• Mopping,

• Vacuuming,

• Cleaning bathrooms,

• Cleaning public areas and working in a team environment.

• Assisting with breakfast service.

• Restocking stock rooms as required.

Flexibility to work between the hours of 9:00am and 2:30pm, including week-ends, school and public holidays.

Applicants with a can-do approach and reliable work attitude. Previous motel or cleaning industry is desirable but not essential. Professional references on request. Only serious applicants to apply.
